How do you know its over fuelling ? What measures have you taken to come to that conclusion mate ?
When you say speed sensor on the error code, do you mean speed signal, I.e. the Emil comes on when you travel over 50 mph ?

Faulty O2 sensor or coolant temp sensor can cause over fueling, both signals can be roughly checked with a multi meter.

Cuz it's shooting flames back firing, no it's not throwing up any lights on the dash

sensors can fail/go faulty without throwing an ecu code. Check lambda and ecu temp sensor with a multimeter

Does your 3sgte have the MAF or is it MAP?

Mass air pressure or mass air flow. Measures the air.coming.into the engine. if you have a maf itl be on you airbox. If you have a map it will be attached to the engine bay directly beside the diagnostic port- ya can't.miss it, itl have a vacuum line attached to it.

The reason I ask is that the mass air flow (MAF) unit is a known weak area that can cause overfueling. Later MR2's did away with MAF and used MAP only.

Im having the exact same issue with mine. I have been to two mechanics and neither have helped me as of yet. I have replaced the O2 Sensor, the Fuel pump resistor, injectors, injector seals.
Just heard today this Mechanic has thrown in the towel too.
My MR2 is off the Road with this since December 2012.
Help greatly appreciated.
