thanks!
got the wiring done just to start the engine, started up first time, only had it running for about 15seconds since there is no coolant, gonna try get her on the wheels by the end of the week hopefully and start prepping her for paint.
And here's a few pics of the progress...

Fitted the clutch today and it worked after a minute of bleeding it, also installed the rest of the hose clamps, topped her up with coolant and had her idling for a while.

There were no leaks from the engine but the left driveshaft seal was leaking, dont know why because the seals in it are new, will have to pull the drive shaft out and replace it on monday.
And just before i was gonna put the wheels on i noticed the front right brake line was leaking at the banjo bolt, replaced copper washers a few times and cleaned the surfaces but it just got worse, so i decided to order a braided brake kit.

Attempting to fit the chargecooler rad up front, its putting up a fight, nothing wants to fit but i think im getting there slowly.
Got the pipe to fit out through a gap at the top but the bottom pipe will be in the way of the fog light... will worry about that when im fitting the fog lights.
Now ill have to come up with some sort of brackets to hold the rad in place.

cant wait to have her on the road, took the track car for a quick rip down the back roads, sickened i wasnt able to drive it on the road.

Ordered a few of these water pumps, ill be using 2 for the chargecooler if 1 wont be enough.

I'm not sure why you would block the side vents off?

I think all the body work ur doing is harder than anything i had to do on this build so far, prepping the engine bay was the most difficult though, i really enjoy the rest though.

No need to remember anything, everything only goes back together 1 way so you cant really screw it up and you can always ring a few members from here for help.
As for lifting the car all you need is an engine crane for around 100e and 6 pallets.
Next time i do your engine work and you do my bodywork

Gonna spray it the original black that it was and then ill be going to Japohara for some stickers.
For the chargecooler you need a few minor bits like hoses, water pumps and throttle sock, im actually doing the installation now, also will be doing it on the track car too.
(stay tuned for pics)
You just need to make up a few brackets to mount the rad up front, the fiat cinquecento rad works well i heard, you only really need a drill and grinder for installation and should only take maybe 2 days, and i think you will have to get rid of your a/c rad and a 10kg compressor on the engine (who needs the usless weight right?)
Check out this thread for installation its pretty good.

not really the biggest thing i had to spray is the purple engine bay and i was happy with it. Prepping is the hardest thing to do spraying is the easy part.

you need to use wet sandpaper to get rid of the orange peel but dont sand it too much or you will hit the primer and will have to spray again,
The more layers of paint you apply the less the risk of sanding right down to the primer.

Got my bro to photoshop my old mr2 and change it to black since everything is gonna be the same except the colour, gives you an idea of what the finished product will look like, colour will be a gloss black though he still did a good job.
