Here is all the plumbing for the chargecooler, i cant find the hose i want so im using this for now, ill replace it at a later stage.

Couldnt find my lock adaptor thing for the wheelnuts so had to make one...

Finally got the wheels on and got the car down on the ground.

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

Started doing some wet sanding with a little soap to get rid of all the road tar on the car.
turning out matt black, starting to look like the colour of the mr2 in my pevious post.

Right i see what you have to do now sure that hose will be fine the samco type would be expensive to run it from front to back , the prep work is coming along fine ,well done keep them pics coming

Yeah chargecooler install isnt too difficult if you have the tools and the garage to do it.
Im thinking the hose diameter may not be big enough but sure if something cheap and cheerful comes along ill buy it, this will do for now.

Here are some pics of filler, primer and sanding over and over again...

Here are the 2 water pumps for the chargecooler, they fit in front of the wheel perfectly.
Each one is 4 lpm so 2 of them will pump at 8 lpm, should be enough.

And another bigger box for the boot to tidy all the wiring, will hopefully have that installed tomorrow.

Thanks, yeah me too lol.
Everything seems to be going as planned, the car with the doors the way it is now should be going in for the respray in the next few days, then ill be able to start putting the interior back in and also finish off prepping the bodykit and the rest of panels and spray them after the car.

Car is mostly finished now and ready to be primed.

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG
More fiberglass on the bumpers.

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG
Washed the sideskirts, some difference, i barely ever washed the car lol.

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

Also discovered coolant leaking today out of the copper pipe going from the engine to the heater up front, there must be a crack in it and ill have to pull the fuel tank out to get it out...

Yeah ill fix the leak after the respray its just anoying though.

This is only my second time ever working with this commercial fiberglass, im not that great with it, im only after learning the correct amount of hardener that needs to be added to the resin lol
It always either turned to rubber or hardened instantly and cracked...

Ill be borrowing a friends new spraying booth which was just built, hes only 100m down the road could nearly drive the car to him, ill be spraying it myself there.

Yeah.
Well just mix the fiberglass resin, soak the fiberglass sheet in it and slap it onto the cracked area....
its not that difficult lol

@dmac yeah suppose it would be harder on the outside use filler where possible.

@mackers its not even the confidence its the will to do it and once you start you have no choice but to keep going, start the project today let your future self worry about the work thats gonna have to be done tomorrow

@finnegan thanks man, you still have that front strut brace? i forgot all about it, tried texting you yesterday but no reply.

Still doing the sanding...
Right rear will need to be fillered and sanded again.
Sanded down the left side to a shiny finish with 800sandpaper,

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG
sanding the whole roof with 800.

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG
Doing the whole car with 800grit now and in the end will go over everything again with 1200
