Hi all just bout myself a 1990 Mk1 Mr2. Always loved these growing up. Over the moon to finally own one.

Thanks. Yes it's in good condition alright. The car was a Christmas present from my wife so I wasn't able to do much till now. I'm not sure about keeping g the teardrops on it tho.

They are a little small in the arches for my taste. Maybe some bbs style wheels or the mk3 wheels.

I dont like bbs wheels but each to their own , some of the old school wheel that rota copy would look really nice

Cheers! Have a list of jobs to do starting with full service including all filters and gearbox oil. Wheels, repaint calipers, replace the stuck electric aerial, upgrade speakers and a few more that will surely crop up.

the mast and the motors can be bought separably ... or at least they can be for the sw20 MR2, so if the motor is working you should be able to save a few quid and just get the mast, I had to do it for mine and it only takes 30 mins or so to fix.

Took a few more pictures today after a good spin out!
Still have a good few jobs I'd like to do but have now given the car a full service, replaced the seals and bearing in the distributor and a good polish and valet.
