Hi all. I recently bought this MR2 and it has a lot of extras and upgrades already done. There is a lot of work in need of fixing and replaced in some cases. The first job is done alternator what a job!. My first aim is to get the car driving and then see what else is needed. I will put up some pics as soon as I figure out how.
I have been looking for a Haynes manual for it any help much appreciated

Thanks for the link that's great help.
Since I fitted the new alternator there is a low spot in the boost when I hit about 400 revs it dies altogether anyone got any ideas it didn't do it before I fitted the reconditioned alternator the is a water injection in to the intake I had disconnected it as the fuse was blown and water bottle empty have refitted it and replaced the blown fuse and filled the water bottle. There has been a lot of modifications done to this car. I'm only finding more as I go. There is a blitz Ecu sitting in the boot not connect and 2 toyota ecu's. Anyone recommend someone I could bring it too that could check them.

Hey guys and girls thought it was time for a quick up date.
Have got the car running right and sorted the problem with the boost. Now starting to take it apart and replace some of the hose and pipes that are worn or perished. I'm going to fit new braided brake lines and refurbished the calipers. Also going to attack the bushings the front feels a bit loose.

Any upgrade suggestions are welcome or just input on where to get bits.

I also might need help if possible with what sounds like a CO joint clicking at the passage side rear.

Hey everyone. Have hit a bit of a problem just put the rocker cover back on and put it all back. When I started it I spotted some water leek ing from the intake. Any one know can the pipe be welded or is it simply replace.

The 2 pipes are there to circulate coolant past the throttle body to stop it from freezing in really cold countries, something we dont have to worry about, Just block off the 2 rubber pipes or plug one into the other and put a kink in it.
Not having 90degree hot coolant going through your throttle will also reduce your intake temp and give you an extra horsepower
