Hi everyonr im looking for some advice. My rev 1 mr2 turbo starts but cuts out nearly straight away as the ecu is cutting the injectots. Its a rev 2 engine on a rev 1 loom. Im just wondering is there any sensors different between the rev 1 and rev2 engines that woukd be stopping the ecu giving power to the injectors? Any advice is welcome thanks

Oh dude... Some massive differences.. I put a rev1 engine into a rev2 loom.. Gotta repin the ECU to make it work..

Do you know which pins to switch mate? I cant find any wiring diagrams anywhere.

I highly doubt you will find any diagrams,
Just get the correct wiring and ecu for your engine,
you will save lots of time and probably money too.

I have done that first and there is no spark. I have all the correct signals coming off my ecu just wont stay running. Put a rrv1 n/a ecu on it and it starts and runs just with no boost.

Try use a boost controller then...

Had a similar problem. Had to use the rev1 ecu with the repinning.. Swapped ecu and was away...

Easier to buy a rev 2 loom and ecu ... and it just so happens I have a spare one

I had a rev 2 loim in it amd a rev2 ecu that came with the engine.

did you have the body loom ???
The one from the passengers foot well to the engine bay ..
That one needs to be changed also

No didnt fit that loom. Just the engine loom.
