I've spent the morning with the MR2. Its all going grand but I need a few things awhile. I have picked up an aerial and might have sourced a window motor, but I need:

1. The Storage box behind the passenger seat which is missing ?
2. The drivers interior door handle
Please let me know if any of you have these awhile and I'll sort something out!

I also need about 1000 grommets

A lot of the interior panels have been removed to accommodate additional wiring and not put back properly or at all, but the wiring's a different story

The indicators stay on and dont "Blink"
Reverse lights don't work
Central locking not working
Alarm not working
Dash lights blown

Fingers crossed an Auto Electrician can sort it all

I think living with the car for the last few days I'll be needing a quieter exhaust too.
I don't mind it, but the neighbour was onto me about the noise as I work nights.
I dunno the brand, but its the one you recently fitted a cat too, if you have another, quieter one, we could prob do a deal !

Are the stock exhaust very restrictive do you know ?
The placement of the engine leads me to think that its so small it couldn't be too bad?!?

Ya no bother posting stuff or that. Ive other quieter exhausts for 3sgte,s. We could work something.
Standard exhaust would restrict a certain bit. Where as aftermarket/performance exhaust usually have a bigger bore. Txt or ring me 0861764113.

Here's a little update on my new Tubby!!

I now have the little black vent design behind the drivers rear window, the drivers interior door handle,an aerial and the 1000 grommets!! And a quieter Exhaust (HKS Interceptor) are now sorted thanks to st182r (Sound and highly recommended) Even swapped

I've the wiring a bit tided up but an Auto Electrician told me the although the Central locking is indeed working the Alarm's not working and needs to be removed

A lot of the interior panels have been cleaned up but some are not secured properly when removed (clips brackets broke) but all in all not terribly bad. I'll get em!

I've found the indicators stay on and don't "Blink" if the stalk is quickly pressed but slowly and it works fine?!? Its a quirk I can live with awhile.

The brakes though - I cannot. There awful. Plenty Go and not much slow. As such CamSkill are kindly sending me two Drilled and Grooved Discs which I'll fit this weekend. Thanks again ST182r - I'll put up pics too

Due to Dash lights blown I'm thinking of getting a nice aftermarket dial kit and do everything at once. All I can find is Lock-Speed though
Oh and maybe a nice set of side-skirts...

Damien (st182r ) Would you be able to post me down a set of solid calipers for the front discs please mate.
The Pins are completely seized when I removed the pads

are the calipers beyond repair..you should try to free them man..had to do that with my mr..just wondering how much you payed for the grooved discs If you don't mind me asking..might get a set.plus I think I seen you outside oranmore heading toward clarinbridge about 2 weeks ago on a saturday?

It very well could of been me ! I have tried to free them up. Elbow grease, bent tools and a hammer but to no success. They were painted red and I think the paint got inside heated up and stuck the pins.

Does anyone have that front side piece section that converts the tobelorone indicator bits from a JDM car to a smoother UK car section ?
Or even know if they fit ?!?
