I am looking for a MK2 preferably black, red or white. I have a limited budget and do not expect miracles! What I cant get past is rust, paint that is totally faded or non-runners. Obviously I would prefer NCT but would not put me off completely, if the car did not have it. I have seen so many over the last few months that have been described as perfect only for me to drive two hours to see and the car not start(also was rusted out)!T-bar would be great but will have no issue without. I will consider any colour. I just want a good base car, year or mileage not an issue (big mileage I would like big history).

Hi there, I have a 2 that is up for sale from this Thursday. It's a 97 reg with 188k miles and has been my daily driver for the last 10 years. Colour is Goodwood Green, and it is a T-Bar. T/Belt is due to be done. NCT is up the end of this week, but wouldn't see any problem it getting through another test. I won't lie and say that it mint, but I'm not looking for a lot for it.
