I'm looking for a standard cat for a 1994 Turbo Mr2, anyone have one for sale or even to loan/rent for the Nct?

just fit a decat downpipe, don't think it needs 1 as that engine variant was never available over here so falls into a different category, I know up in here in the North turbo mr2's don't need a cat fitted if they are older than 95 like my 94 rev3 tubby, think it is similar with you as long as the emissions aren't to high, but mine weren't even close to the limit without it

yes you need a cat for nct
93 and onwards are checked on high idle
if it was pre 93 you dont need a cat

Ah thats different than up north, we are pre 95 don't need them

Im in Dublin, Cheers for the offer. I managed to find a 2nd hand one that seemed in good condition so should find out soon enough if its good or not.
