These guys look pretty good. They even have a fitment guarantee (always the biggest worry with a kit)

www.replikit.co.uk

They have a pretty good section for SW20 and Spider, but don't seem to have any Mark 1 stuff ... Not bad pricing from what I have seen on the site.

Another interesting thing is that they have a section for 'design your own kit'...

A not so great review ....

Replikit feedback

TBH, I won't give up on them yet - as with any company starting off (as in starting off their own production -I know they've imported kits for a long time now), it can take time before they get it right.

One mould goes wrong doesn't mean all their kits are bad.

I'm going to keep an eye on them over next few months and give them a chance.

They're not starting off though, they've been around for the guts of 13 years! I first heard of them maybe 2 years ago but i checked their "about us" section of the site and it says they've been going since 1997 I suppose the fact that they're still going after 13yrs is an indication that they're not churning out complete shite

Yeah, that is a good sign - but their UK production is only new. On their site, they actually have fitted pics - so, winder what went wrong with the production process if they already test fitted them .... ?

I got my side skirts off Gtech on Twobrutal - he is the same guy who makes aero parts for Rogue. Fit was "bolt-on"

Because of the side skirts fitting so well, I might go for the Rogue front. Its similar to the Border but that bit different.

I can't say fo sure but from what I heard its due to cutting corners (not literally off your kit !).

Apparently kits made in China don't ever do a test fit - because they churn so many out for so many different cars, it's just not possible.

And I also heard that if you want to d it properly, the mould should only last for 10 or so kits and then needs to be re-made.

I had a Neos front bumper and side skirts on my last 2. I was able to just bolt on myself, the fit was so good. He took his time - but then he went and took too much time and got himself in trouble on orders etc !!

He had - it started off with getting behind on orders and then when it all went pear shaped, he legged it with cars, parts, deposits etc.

Apparently they caught up with him again in the last month or so !

I ordered a SARD front bumper off him and he came over on the ferry with it ! albeit 10 months after the order date.
