Does the rear spoiler create a lot of drag? just I'm going drag racing on Sunday at Abbeyshrule and being the last one for me this year was trying to break into the 12's, currently best time is 13.4 at 104mph and was wondering if removing the rear wing will make much of a difference

All weight reduction will help, but taking the rear spoiler can be a pain as it is bolted and glued in placed. That's my last experience with a rev 5 spoiler.
Take out the spare wheel, tool kit, passo seat, empty the fuel tank and put in 15 ltrs only if they are short runs, being a jerry can to refuel if your driving home.
That would be my thoughts, and 13.4 is a good time on a quarter mile. What tires are you using.

AFAIK rev3 wing is just 2 bolts each side of boot have aircon stripped out and spare wheel, not taking out passenger seat as have a passenger and using 235/30 17 road tyres which I drop the pressure to about 20psi, just looking to know if taking the wing off will give me a few more mph crossing the line

decided not to bother with the wing since I only found out the day before that it wasn't a full 1/4 mile, only managed 4 runs, but 11.3 for 1000ft isn't too bad, ended up heading at about 3, no point running in that weather, weren't even able to get any times
