Thanks lads, was kind of hoping I might make it up to Terenure for an hour or two but any chance of that is now gone out the window, and this is why....

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

Top mounts on the front were completely w*nked when i took them out so need to get 2 new ones :fail: at least it's one less thing to worry about for the trip.

Got the back ones in with a bit of fiddling

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

Should have top mounts for the front monday evening and with have them in that night all going to plan (pity nothing ever goes to plan  )

Thanks a million lads Nice to get some positive feedback on stuff you're pretty happy with yourself

@got92tubby: thanks mate, happy enough...for now....

@ spla: not a bad idea after all the feckin time i spent polishing them! The lights are 4300k hids, went for them as the higher up the scale you go the more they turn blue/purple and wanted a nice crisp light

@Cozzy: cheers dude, just sickened i missed out on the terenure show by a day

@eringobragh: Thanks mate, will keep working on it as long as my bank account/girlfriend allows me

Re: My GTS 10 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 60
thanks dan

Ya, finaalllyyyy put them in! Talk about taking my time! haha

They're a bit stiffer than the standard springs but not bad at all! Delighted with them as i drive this car everyday and can't really afford a chiropractor right now

Might take a spin to the big meet if i can but since i'm from Waterford it would be a pretty long trip to go by yours first

just using the standard bulbs in the fogs, bought the fogs off peggyontherun and he had them covered in a thick yellow film, the Guards love them!

Haha I dunno wy I thought you from galway area haha oops

Ahh the film handy way I guess with the standard bulb the yellow looks well on black.

Ya u shud b good craic sure few mr2s and not too far away from u.?

Ya my hsd coilovers are bit tough on the road but I think there mighty not as hard as I tought anf the performance in second to none.

Do the guards actually like them cause a guard said to me b4 that they were grand on a friends car I was driving one night I tought he was gonna say turn them off but he said no there fine cause there not blinding..

Re: My GTS 10 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 60
thanks dude. Have it at 13psi (approx .9 bar) with warning limiter set at 14.5 psi (1 bar). Wouldn't feel comfortable going any further as looking to keep the reliability for the europe trip in a couple of weeks! Will prob be running standard boost 90% of the time but just nice to have the option. Didn't think I'd notice much too much of a difference but well impressed, pity it will only feel fast for a week

Sounds good. Mine for some reason is putting out a steady 14 psi with no bosst controller. Might have a diffrent actuator or something not complaining its bloody great.
Enjoy the power

Re: My GTS 10 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 60
haha nice one! There isn't a bleed valve in there by any chance??

Anyway, got bored again and decided i wasn't happy with the two radio look in the car so decided to mount the boost controller in a piece of real carbon fibre, left it offset towards the drivers side in case i find some new shiny toy to put on the other side Think it looks better to the side anyway, sorry about the crap photo, was dark when i finished...

I rolled the back arches today to give myself more clearance for the back wheels, addition of spacers soon

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

Lip was about the width of my thumb

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

Now only about a quarter the width so should make a nice difference

Nice one might get this done is it hard to do? Hope the paint didn't crack? I brought my wheels out 15mm just meeting the arch lip but might bring out the wheels 25mm

not hard to do at all, just kept the metal/paint hot with a heat gun and took my time so paint is perfect Really simple job!

Thanks cozzy, there a progressive spring so don't feel too hard until you put them under load which suits me fine as this is my daily, can feel a little crashy if booting it down a rough backroad though!
