Hit a damn mink yesterday, caused a bit of damage alright, corner piece ended up in someones front garden 50m down the road.. good thing i found it, front bumper needs fiberglass and paint anyway.

Yeah it looks better in the last pic because i pushed back the cracked part over the indicator to level out the surface. could have been a lot worse. i was going about 100kmh

Bad dose dude f..k that s..t. I hit a badger at 70 cracked and flaked the paint of the front bumper on the van dirty dose them midnight ramblers..

Got myself a python 533 alarm from ebay,
One way remote and a 2 way pager comes with it,
remote start, motion sensor (was an extra $30), built in turbo timer,
different alarm and starting options,
it has a function to automatically start the engine if the temperature inside the car falls below 0 degrees in winter time, and it tells you the temperature inside the car on the 2 way pager, does lots more things and can be programmed to do other stuff aswel.
There is a huge list of instructions on how the remote works with loads of functions which require you to press 2 or 3 buttons at the same time, bit of learning to do lol
Got everything for $166 including postage.
Ill get around to installing it next week and post updates on it

nice one spla wouldn't dream of wiring my own alarm, hate wiring and would probably end up locking myself out/in the car

Ah its pretty straight forward, you get really good wiring instructions with a color description of each wire, what it does and where its located on the alarm box,
All you need to do then is get a volt meter, go to your car ignition barrel and find out which wire has what voltage and when it gets the voltage, im still gonna go to a good electrician down the road so he can give me a hand and fix my central locking problem while hes at it because its driving me mad, it only works when it wants to.

Done the NCT there yesterday, the major fails were emissions, noise and a leaky caliper which just needed the 2 copper washers replaced at the fluid feed line which wasnt even that hard of a fix, because of the caliper they put a sticker on the windscreen saying dangerous for public roads, assholes, fixed it straight away anyway.
They failed me on exhaust noise because it was 5db over the limit, WTF?!
And emissions was .06 over the limit. Maximum allowed: 1.03, mine: 1.09.
I rang Martin in Enfield to ask about emissions and straight away he told me to fix my leaky exhaust, and he was right i had leaks in the exhaust lol

Those new seats are awful looking IMO.

To put them in your car in place of super rare factory option Recaros is madness!

People choose to modify their car to their personal taste .. Spla likes those seats and its his car ... If the seats are what Spla wants then they are perfect .. instead of slagging off other peoples taste why not put up a thread on your car and let us all take cheap shots at it ...

So far you have Pissed off Marty J ... Spla300 and I wouldn't consider myself your biggest fan .. not bad going in a short space of time ... You would turn people off putting up pics of their pride and joy for fear you would not approve ... After all what you don't know about MR2's is not worth knowing I think you said in another thread or something along those lines ...

I really don't want to get into this any further ... this statement will not require a response from you so lets leave it there ...

Needed a tow hook for the front of the car, but couldnt find the one i liked so i decided to try this, i had some engine bits lying around and saw conrods from a 3sge engine and had a mad idea pop into my head...
