Terenure car show 2013

Okay, its that time of year again. We've had a mix of rain and wind the last few years at this show. The law of averages says that we should have a dry, sunny Terenure car show this year !

For those who don't know - the show is labelled as a classic car show but it has all sorts. From Italian supercars to American muscle, Japanese to Catherams - something for everyone.

Last year Sumrfster was a life saver and was able to organise a Marquee and got us a brilliant price on it. I'll check with him to see if his mate is doing the Marquee's again this year and see if he can get a similar price.

Its €10 per car (anyone who brought a passenger last year - did you have to pay for the passenger ?). If we can get the marquee for around the same price, then for 10 people we're looking at 28 quid a head (10 for show and 18 for marquee).

I'll get the ball rolling ....

And of course, we'll have the BBQ and snacks, drinks etc

The show has prizes for best stand but even though we have the best looking cars at the show, the judges don't seem to see it that way. The logistics of a projector and ps3 for games / videos has defeated us. But, we will still doll up our stand with balloons and bunting : )

If you have only been on the forum and not been to any events so far, it's a great day and a brilliant way to meet other members,

We'd like to get numbers as soon as possible because they will allocate an area for us based on how many we have.

The form doesn't appear to be up on the Terenure website yet but i will be bringing along copies to any meets (cars 'n coffee, mini-meets etc).

I can preferably collect payment at the meets or via paypal for those further afield.

I have no issue with the Supra being there, I will bring the grinder and welder, sure she will be an MR2 in no time

well u know me im mad to go again savage show last year if i have a car ready ill put my name down ive nothing ready at the moment its on in uly isnt it?

@Anto - we can fit the Supra in - its kind of a cousin of the MR2

@Cozzy - fair play to you. Fingers crossed weather is nice and at least you'll have a nice drive up. I see you have your eye on a turbo in another thread. Am sure you'll sort one before July.

oh yes we should have a lash of cars from the south so, if i cant go in my car ill definatley go up with anyone who has a free seat

Marquee is booked so we're ok if the weather gets to hot we can hide in the shade
