Congrats on the sale mate! MR2's are going very cheap lately. Your's was a great example of one. At least they're selling though. You think you'll be back in the fold any time soon? I was a snapped cambelt away from joining you in the ex-MR2 owners circle myself!

Thanks dan,you were my biggest competition so to speak when selling the car.One lad that came and had a look said it wasnt for him,he was from collon and i sent him your way becasue he had more money.

You wouldnt believe the amount of interest i had in it,you wouldnt think there was a recession at all.Every day someone got in contact,just they all had a problem getting down to me.If tonights sale fell through i had someone that said they'd take it tomorow without looking at it.

I was on the way to the bank to get the loan for a part exchange I was about to do with an 01 B4 Legacy. Just after putting a deposit on a 99 Ford Mondeo for €450 so I'll have that for a runabout and I'll probably pump €5000 into the MR2!

Won't be selling it now though. Guess it wasn't meant to be!

Oh and where did you get the roof pod for your AVC R?

I got it second hand off one of the English owners clubs. I was lucky though as they hardly ever come up. Tim at TBDev used to make them but hasn't in ages.
