I've been reading up on both but still not sure which to go for, would appreciate it if anyone here could let me know what type they are using and if they have had any issues or would recommend a particular type. One of my concerns with the mechanical is where do people run the tubing for it so its hidden but doesn't get kinked, under the carpet? Pics would be brilliant if anyone has them as we'll so I could see people's set up to give me an idea

Defenatly go for the electric one. the manual ones overboost and you need to get out and adjust them under your hood then get in the car and put your foot down to see if its at the boost level you want if not get out adjust again and so on, if you extend them tubes into the cabin it will overboost even more, personally i think its just a big NONO!
Electronic ones show you the boost levels as well as your boost gauge so thats a bonus so you can compare the 2 and be 100% sure of ur boost also adjust your boost while driving and they dont overboost, also you can set an overboost warning so it beeps and flashes if you overboost, lots of cool features. keep an eye out for one on donedeal or something, you should find one at a cheap enough price, ive the HKS one it shows boost in bars i think its awesome.
And it sits perfect just behind the steering wheel.

I ran the boost gauge pipe down the right driver side of the car, just open the door and pull off the plastic sill and lay it down there under the carpet then look for a rubber plug in the firewall, feed it through that and then ur in the engine bay, its only a 10min job
Thanks! I got that holder from dan he had the deer god profile pic with a pic of a deer on it. the gauges were in it too but he didnt have the oil temp and oil pressure senders so only the boost one works the others are for show, dont know what to do nobody sells senders seporately, dont even know if senders from other brand gauges would work

I dont know probably is since its made in china but then again everything today is made in china even the real iphones, designed in california and the part they dont mention is made in china
I think even the real defi gauges are probably made in china, But the people that buy them for resale add tax also maybe shipping costs and extra money on top of that for profit thats why they are so expensive but buying it on dx.com is pretty much getting it straight from the producer thats why its so cheap. I never had any problems with anything i ordered from the site, build quality seemed ok with everything i bought from them before and if ur careful with the gauge like anything else it will last a long time, if i was looking for a boost gauge id defo buy it.
