Hey All,

Just after putting my tubby through the NCT on Saturday, and low and behold it failed on the bloody db level . Apparently it was running at 107db and i'm not sure if that was at idle or high revs. They don't give much info regarding this, just that it exceeded 99db.

I won't go into another rant as the poor girlfriend experienced the brunt of my anger on Saturday. But surely this test shouldn't be done within an inclosed shed!!

Anyway, i was wondering if anyone had a stock rev 3 turbo exhaust system for sale so that i might be able to pass my re-test??

Hi Cathal, what kind of an exhaust have you got?
You can get bungs for some ... lots of guys in UK use them as MOT rules on noise pollution are fare more strict than NCT

It's a Blitz nur spec R. I'll have to have a bulb at these bungs.

it would be a wee bit cheaper than having to buy and fit another exhaust!
I've seen them on flea bay ... but I'd say that any proper exhaust shop should have them
