Respect to that guy, he is very talented. It's a wonder that one of the high-end car companies doesn't give him a job.

Would be great if you have this done before the Terenure car show in the "Summer". I saw "Summer" because the eyar before last, it p1ssed out of the heavens and then last year, the wind blew gazebos away. Snow in July this year ??

Any idea what colour you are going to spray it ?

What type of sanding equipment do you use at this stage. What grade of paper is best ? It is great that you are sharing your build experience with us. Could you also give us tips on how to do certain things when doing an install like this ?

Re:Lamborghini Murcielago Kit Car/MR2 12 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 129
@ martyj - Yip i am using grade 80 sand paper as i have alot to fill due to the previous owner damaging the kit if your using filler start with grade 80,120,finish with 320 and then prime the piece and rub down with wet 2000 and 4000 doing an install i used wood for the buld head then cut out the shape of the speakers and then used expandable foam as this is easy to cut with a hacksaw blade into what shape you want. I ran 1 inch pipe from the back of the speakers through the car and into the engine bay as to help the speakers breathe if not you will blow them eventually then i fiberglassed over the wood and then used 50 yo yo's of filler for the back bulk hard its a bit of work but when done right pays off

@ infamous - Yip i choose white as its the only colour for a lambo

Here is a picture with the doors on 6 months back

Here is a picture at the drivers rear wheel arch you can see the breather pipe for the sub behind the driver

Here is the wing mirrors they lads in the UK use the MR2 mirror motors to make them fold in but i decided not to use them as if they burn out it will be an expensive fit so i moulded the mirrors into one piece ;)
This was done 8 months ago i will just show you the work involved
The mirrors when i got it in two pieces

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

After a week of rubbing i got to here

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

And the mirrors painted in black these have been sent off for carbon fiber dipping the same as the dash

Here was the nightmare of the build moving the fuel pipe the hardship i had and my hands were in bits this is a pipe i made and the angle had to be right

I was just wondering when I looked at this... what do you do about glass?
Do you have to buy lambo windows for all around, as their obv not the same size as the MR2 ones?
