Hi All,

Joined a few weeks back hoping someone on here would sell me a good "2" after viewing a lot of lemons this seemed like my best hope.
As luck would have it I bought the first members car I saw from Fewer (thank you sir for a very easy transaction-gentleman). She is not perfect but will keep me busy over the coming months/years. Its a 97 UK car T-Bar (obviously now on Irish plates) in very dark green.
I will apologise in advance for the amount of questions I will probably have over the coming months but will be grateful for all answers.
Anyway I'm based in the Cavan area and hope when I get a few more bits done to attend some of your meets.
20 years lusting after this car. I cant believe I have one!

Got it up eventually! So far have replaced the stereo, wipers and re-spray of the arms, some touching up of paint, gear knob and gaiter. Got a prezzie in the post today, full service kit will do myself and timing belt, water pump and clutch (wont tackle these probably). As I said fair bit to do drivers seat is leather and in a bad way need to decide if a re-cover or keep eyes peeled for a good used one. Overall delighted with the car just cant wait to get these bits done to see what she is really like.

I remember seeing an MR2 - probably 20 years ago myself now. Anyway, i didn't know what it was then. But, i did know it wasn't an out and out exotic supercar. So, i thought to myself that i could possibly own one of them one day.

Forgot about them for years and came across one by chance. 15 years and 4 MR2's later and I've a rare SW20 Spider and she's a keeper : ).

So, i know exactly where you're coming from after that wait and finally getting one.

Sitting into the cabin with the seat so low and centre console raised, it feels like you're in a fighter plane and not a car. Oh, the nostalgia ....

Spidey I love this perfect description of how its making me feel. Going in for a clutch and a few other bits soon, but I was out for a quick spin, and all I can say is ahhhhh that's where I wanted to be.
I have owned so many cars over the years but NEVER have I had the feeling that this motor has brought me.
Its for me a long term project but cant when I get some free time to work on it, were blazing down the road!

So it only took me 1 week and 5 days to get the pics up!!
