craic lads, im having trouble getting my avatar pic up on my porfile.. I'm clicking into browse, getting a picture thats on my computer, clicking upload, and then the picture is coming up as a x icon? am i doing something wrong?

Only one of my pics will work as my avatar. I think it could have something to do with the size of the image or something. I'm not quite sure though. Good post, hopefully I can get something out of this too

You should use this as your avatar

Seriously, could be a size thing ... thought it would tell you and I haven't had a prob with avatars on this site due to their size. Sometimes it does give an error message but updates the avatar shortly after (like within a hour or two)

Upload your picture here and use the resize option and set as Avatar (100x75 IIRC)
Then right click the image,save as,and save as SIG or something (JPG or PNG format) and then repeat the steps for putting it here (browse,select picture etc)

I have the same problem aswell with my pic. Even my computer guy can get it working for me???

Hi guys, there's some problem on the site with avatars for some reason. It's proving difficult to track down the bug. If you pm me the picture you want to use then I will put it in the gallery and you'll be able to select it from there. Sorry about the inconvenience.
