We're looking at organising meets during the year and for day meets, its not really fair to expect lads and lasses from one end of the country to head to the other and back in a day.

So, I wanted to get a feel for where people are from and how far they are prepared to travel for day meets and also for a meet which might be overnight/few days.

I'll start - I'm in Dublin and I'd be on for meets in and around a max 4 hour round-trip drive for a day trip. For an overnight/few days, I'd prob be prepared to go to UK - maybe for JAE or some other show.

Portadown.I should be good so any meet in the north.should get to some of the Dublin meets a some stage.jaw sounds good but I'm doing the running of he bulls again this year so July is iffie.

I'm in Naas, Kildare, Would be prepared to meet up in the evenings, prob 2 hr round trip, day trips i'd be prepared to travel max 6 hour round trip, over nighters etc I'd be happy enough with as long as its organised fairly well, as much as I love my 2 I wouldnt fancy sleeping in it

I'm in Moira, Co. Antrim/Armagh/Down (on the border of all three )

Have car and weather will travel to anywhere north of line between Dublin & Galway for a day meet

I am in Meath, and from March will travel anywhere, duration is not relevant, thats what red bull was invented for

Im in Clontarf, Dublin! Used to driving out the the g/f 4 times a week to Blessington so willing to travel most places!

I'm in Dublin 9, I'd probably say about a 4 hour round trip to meets but it depends on the size of the meet really

I think we'll be organising some meets down south end during 2010 also. I was thinking maybe Kilkenny and/or Ennis some time..

I know there is a lad from Tipp who has already been to the Carlingford meet !!!

And I think I remember someone mentioning Waterford.

Rafael (rr87) is down in Cork but trying to get an Irish driving licence and insurance and then a 2. But he has spotted a few 2's around Cork.

And I think there is someone else that metioned Kerry in some other post ??

Based in Belfast. Those of you who know me will know that distance is no option to me either.

In Tipperary, was at my first meet in Carlingford before xmas, really enjoyed the day, bit of a drive but really didnt mind, hopefully have a meet down this side of the country in 2010

I'm from Donegal myself. Travelling between Letterkenny and Mountcharles/Donegal Town. Up in Letterkenny most of the time though.

Im in dublin. no car at mo. would go anywhere as have also been every where ha. god knows wen car will ever be back on road due to me wanting it perfect and ins, all i can say im a good passo . but regarding hrs with work id go any where.

Heya, Claire here, I'm in North County Dublin! Will Drive anywhere at all, I love driving my car so I'll go anywhere, I just need a little notice to plan ahead!
Some of you may not know but my Car is getting the engine re-built and finely tuned so hopefully the car will be ready to go for te next meet!!
