Hi guys and galls,

Name is Dave from Clontarf. Was on the mr2oc uk site for a while till i found exactly what i was after in this site. A long story short...
Bought a rev 3 turbo last year.
Lost compression in cyl 3 oil pumping out of bov.
2 grand later have just finished running in a full bottem end build (weisco pistons on new rods bearings ect) the build finished just in time to miss every show and track day this year

So thats me. Let the abuse begin!!

Of course i got a fellah called Ronan to do it.
He came recommended from a friend who did his ae86 rebuilt and works for Roco performance in Newbridge. Nicest guy you could know.
He took a long time (4 months) to do it due to parts issues (they lost our order), grugin pin for piston went missing or probably wasnt sent! engine required a lot of rebore work ect and the machinist was sick then hols ect ect.
BUT for 2k twas a bargan for everything brand new in the motor even the oil strainer.

he sourced them all from england so it was at his expense therefore waited to sort it out with that company rather than re order at his cost and hope he got his money back from the first company. I think he said he ordered from jap performance but dont quote me on that!!!
