Hi guys, Quandry let me know about this site, so decided to join up. Some of you will know me from the other MR2 website forums, and no doubt i'll have met some of you

I currently own 5 Mk2 MR2s, two are ongoing projects and the other ones i've got to nab some parts from them, then breaking the rest of them.

My main project is a Rev3 automatic thats having some super rare Phoenix's Power bodykit parts fitted, wide arch flares and lots of carbon! After the kit is fitted and the car painted, i'll be mating my newly aquired Rev2 Turbo engine to the auto box, after a rebuild of course I've spent a few grand building up a collection of parts for it, including a Phoenix's Power front bumper and rear spoiler, C-West sideskirts, Border style carbon bonnet, XV Racing engine lid, half alcantara Recaro Speed seats, BN Sports rear valance, SexyStyle arch flares (imported by myself from Japan, costing a LOT of money), and much more. I'm also paying for some 3 spoke Volk C-Ultra wheels with
255 wide tyres on the rear and 225s on the front Can't wait to get cracking on it, i'm renting a workshop a few miles away, so hopefully progress will be quick

welcome. sounds like a serious project u have goin there.im plannin on doin a lot of work to my own mk2 aswell.do u mind tellin me where u got those arch flares?i was lookin into gettin the abflug supra archs ive seen them used a few times but there hard to get hold of..

No i don't mind. I have a contact in Japan who actually ordered them from a shop in Japan, then he posted them to me. They ended up costing me a good bit more than i expected, but i guess you have to put your hand in your pocket if you want something that no-one else has

Heres a quick pic below of the front end and arches. I was going to use the MRD skirts i have but the part of them which meets up the front wings foul the arches, so i'm just going to use my C-West ones until i find the £1000+ for the genuine Phoenix's Power ones

This red car is no longer going to be used as the basis for the project as i've now got a Rev3 automatic thats going to be used instead. But as i fitted the Phoenix's Power front to this car, i'm using it as a mock up t truaial fit my parts to see what they look like and if everything is going to fit

Hadn't planned to be, in fact i don't actually know what it is, lol

On October 4th, MR2 Drivers will be meeting for the Enniskillen straightliners event. We expect there will be a good level of MR2 interest from both the North and South so come along for a chat and the craic.

hmmm... strangely enough i had anew LCD TV delivered to my sister's house as she lives in Enniskillen, so i have another reason to be in that neck of the woods. And i think there may be a few guys here that are looking parts i could cring with me...

So it's settled. You'll be there!
