Thought I'd say hi, as I recently stumbled accross your site and accidentally resurrected a Berk Tech exhaust group-buy thread

I've been an MR2 owner for about 4 years now - I've owned 3 rev5 TBar NAs and now a rev3 TBar Turbo...

Number one - black V-reg GTi-16 TBar (written off in collision with am milk tanker)

I go to lots of the UK shows, and also take my cars on road trips... 2007 was a week in the Irish Republic in the R-reg, 2008 was a week in Brittany in the S-reg and 2009 was an epic 2 week trip around most of western europe in the L-reg. That's somewhere on the road between Davos and Stelvio in the Italian Alps. I absolutely love that pic and think I'll probably get it printed up onto canvas when I finally buy my first house

I'd love to do something like that european trip some time. I'd say it cost a few quid but it was probably well worth it?

Yeah - it wan't cheap (I still haven't actually counted the cost, but easily 4 figures) tho absolutely worth it. Next time I wouldn't aim to cover so many miles in such a short length of time... but certainly need to take the car back tot eh alps and teh 'ring

Good luck! The only one I'm aware of in the UK is a converted GTi-16

Caribbean blue gets more compliments than cosmos I've found tho... lots of my friends were quietly raher dubious of cosmos

Yeah a lot of people would be dubious of Cosmos, but feck it i love it.
Ah i settled for red in the end i got tried waiting for a Cosmos or Black on to come up.

I waited for 8 months to find the right caribbean blue TBar turbo, so i know what you mean... but at least I was driving the cosmos rev5 so the wait was bearable!

And yeah, i love cosmos blue too... second best colour they painted the MR2 in

After White of course!!

I saw a GT TBar Rev5 in Cosmos Blue for sale some months back (GTS Chris). Had a Tom's kit and various goodies. Would have made one heck of a 2! I prefer hardtop though but that's just personal choice.

He's had a tintop advertised on his site for about a year... didn't know he'd imported a TBar

That said, I'm not looking atm

I could easily be wrong Quandry, and it'd be ace if the is a TBar turbo around! I saw a Cosmos Blue TRD for sale last year... if it weren't a tintop I'd have put serious thought into running to the bank and asking for a rather large loan to buy it!

Would you be willing to let me cut up some of your pics to be used for the MR2.ie site header? If so, appreciate if you could send me links to where I can get them in at least 1000px width.
