So.... I'm Claire, 29yrs old living on the Northside and have a Blue '94 that I inported from the Uk 2yrs ago!! She Pretty Special, Came with Full Service History Tracing all the way back to Japan! She's Pretty Standard, Just sitting on 17's with an Induction Kit which gives it a Good Rasp! I'm not sure what to Do to her Next but I'll do something Tasteful.

Nope not the one in Ireland, am on most of the other ones in the uk though.

Oh and both of ours are hardtops

Thats one thing I don't think I could get used to!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the T-BAR!!! Wind in your Hair, Its Great!!! But there is a downside, Cold face, Nose and Ears!!! Better Pack me ear muffs for Sunday so

Unfortunately I can't make Mondello this wknd...

As for the T-bar i turned down so many MR2s that didn't have Tbar, now i finally got one, i think i have had the tops off 3 times since i got the car at the start of the summer.
Its froggo inside even when sunny out hehe!
I still like having it though

Haha my last mr2 was t-bar, leaked a lot, A LOT!.. Only got the top off probably 3 times so when i was looking for my turbo it had to be black and hardtop The tbar was handy for transporting side skirts though

Yeah mine is leaking a Tiny Tiny bit but they're easily fixed!! There's a Nack to it. Must keep that in Mind for when I'm getting the Skirts done on her!

Has anyone got any suggestions on how to get my Exhausts Shiney again????

Hey Tony!!! Checked out you car, Beautiful Red!!! Some of the Other Reds faded very easily but you seem to have the New Red that they started to use!! Nice Car! Will we be seeing you at the Runs each Month??

Is it steel, painted steel, stainless steel, or chrome? there's a different knack for each of them

Not sure, Ithink its just steel!! Just the standard exhaust that was on it originally!

On my last two, it was an ongoing battle. So, in the end I decided to get new seals. I can't remember the prices but I ordered from Toyota in Dallas and got them more than a hundred qiud cheaper than here !!!

If it has chrome tips then a good scrub with car wash and then a shot of window cleaner will do the trick. If they are just steel, you can repaint them with a gloss silver, but the heat will make it fade. Powdercoating gives a longer lasting finish.

Its a bit faded, but have been working on it since the start of the summer, its nearly there.
I wanted cosmos blue or black, but its just so hard to get exactly what u want, so had to compromise on red I love teh colour of yours, i have never seen that colour before.

I used Brillo pads on my exhaust to get them shiney again

thanks! as Mark senior said, it is a hard top

as for the exhaust, i use autosol metal polish on mine and it works a treat, if i think of it i'll bring some to japfest and you give it a shot
