Ozzy, I take it you have an uprated intake and exhaust? These do make a difference, however slight some people may argue.
Good intake allows more air in, the A/F sensor reads the higher volume of air and automatically ups the fuel mix, ie, more power.
Also, an exhaust is basically a tuned restrictor / limiter, uprating it can increase the back pressure, again, pushing out a little more more.
Both together could give you a quick and easy 5% power gain, maybe a little more.
With an uprated I/C, you could turn the factory boost up from 0.9 to 1.0 or 1.1 bar.
All of this is pretty straight forward, but quick and easy power without doing major engine work.
DON'T get it mapped until you have all of these things done and you are happy that you are finished modding. If you get it mapped, it will be exactly tuned for the mods you have/ the exact set-up, so changing the set-up will just mess up the mapping. Waste of money as mapping ain't cheap, you don't want to have to do it several times.
There probably a few other bits and pieces you can do too without spending a FORTUNE.
Maybe uprate the plugs and leads. Call out to Couture Auto. They have TRD & NGK plug leads for good money, maybe get iridium plugs.
