Need some advice,
took a 96 tub for a test drive, seemed fine except halfway through there was a rumble/knocking which seemed to be coming from the passenger side.Stopped to check it out and there was massive amounts of heat coming from the left rear wheel. The disc looked a bit warped, but its hard to tell without taking it off, told the dealer and he thinks its just a jammed calliper. The pads are a bit thin, but he said he'd replace them.Anybody got other experiences/theories on this?
Ive got the dealer (Jap Cars,Santry) to agree to fix it and get it past the NCT before i pay the full price, put down a e400 deposit.
Anybody dealt with them before?
Dr.Murriarty
Finally got my 2,and its a tub!!

i tried to buy a yellow tubby from them about a month ago and rang enquiring and long story short he hung up on me, then kept calling me about a civic or something thinking i was someone else so im not their biggesst fans...

I'd say handbrake needs adjustment at the calliper! There is obviosly a rubbing issue there! Dunno how to fix it though as when i failed the NCT on h/brake inbalance i just took the mechanism off both sides of the car frowned at it then gave up and put it back on and it worked perfectly
