I m lookin to get her close to 300 bhp with out sacraficin reliability, at the moment i ve a straight through mongoose that was on her already but thats all. Sholud i upgrade da ecu before uppin da boost? Or is there enough gains from either mod alone to reach that sort of power?

Standard ECU will get you to 300fwhp with standard turbo and just increasing the boost. But a standalone ECU will get you a bit more top end power but will also get you a better powerband, better off boost economy etc The only things I'd suggest getting would be a De-Cat and an uprated I/C.

Thanks spidey, ur dealin with a mod novice here who s got da power/speed drug. uppin da boost with da stock I/C would be damagin? What sort of boost controler would u recomend? or where to get it fitted in da dublin area?

Any of the Japanese electonic brands are good HKS evc, Blitz, etc. Be VERY careful when trying to increase power. You need to increase fuel supply when increasing power, too lean and it's bye bye engine !
