I was driving in to work, spotted a very nice looking '94 SMG on the N4. I slowed down to give a way, but due to fast moving traffic could not hand over a club card. The car had the old style tail lights and also the rare JDM full red plastic centre insert. Looked like a real nice 2.
thanks for the wave
are you on here?

You need to watch more Fast and the Furious ! You merely put a brick on the accelerator and then lean out of the window and steer with your feet. Then simply hand the card to the other guy

Okay, these are methods for getting MR2.ie cards to other vehicles.

I tried this with a bus but it was harder than my bike and me
Bruised for weeks and still a hole where one half of a rib is slighty ontop of the other half.

That's fine, but its really embarrassing when you go to all that trouble and you are spread across their windscreen at 100km and they are not interested. They don't slow down, just turn on the wipers. Kinda felt like a wally then.

I'm trying to find a picture of the tail light assembly this two has. I've seen it online but it was quite a while ago. It's very rare and looks quite cool.
This is close, but no cigar:

Will try and find out the history of this rare JDM option now. They make the early lights look cool IMO

@ Spidey, yes, got it in one mate!
@ Quandry, I really dont like that first one, but then I scrolled down and thought...hmmmmm...thats actually pretty cool. I really don't like the REV1,2 tails, but with that centre panel, they DO LOOK COOL! I like it!
@ Claire, couldn't agree more, its full on KITT, specially on the black car. Pretty 80's TransAm.

Its true Ricky, they are horrendously over priced, like a lot of things unfortunately.
You can get other aftermarket ones cheaper but in fairness, they are cheaper looking and built much cheaper, so tend to be flimsy and a bad fit. A few years ago I would have been into the Lexus style lights, but they look cheap to me now, my fav's are deffo the stock REV3 plus.

according to Ishii these are third party. Pretty nice fit and appearance for something not made by Toyota.
