Just thought it might be worth starting a thread and people can post up what they're good at/ what they do for a living. Hopefully we'll be able to help each other out a bit

I fix white goods; washing machines, tumble driers, dishwashers, cookers etc. So if anyone around Dublin has a problem drop me a pm and I'll sort you out, anyone further afield drop me a pm and i might be able to help diagnose the problem over the phone

Im a qualified HGV mechanic, so if anybody needs a hand with work or the like im always here to help. But at mo working in tesco's .

I lost my job in IT and for now am a stay at home Dad.

If anyone wants their kids minded, I provide a great service for 200 euros per hour. We've a bouncy castle, older kids can watch movies/play ps3 on the projector and I'll fill them with McDonalds/Pizza - they will dying to come back for more 200 euro/hour child minding !

I'm also a hobbyist photographer, I'm more into taking pictures of things rather than people. I'm hoping to get into motor photography in a big way in 2010 so if anyone wants to get some decent shots of their car drop me a pm

I am the the design manager and a contracts manager for a (dare I say it) construction company. We specialise in water/gas & mist fire protection systems for predominately large scale construction projects such as Intel / Johnson & Johnson / BMS / Microsoft / Dundrum shopping centre and the likes. Long may they keep investing in Ireland. Now thats enough of the sales pitch.

Started with them in 1991 as a hand and CAD draughtmans, am thankfully still with them now. Just need to last another year and hopefully we will be outta the shit the country is in now.

So I am not much use to anybody but have ample tools and a garage to work on cars if anybody ever needs to do anything in the dry, with a radio playing and tools to work with. I will work for free, but you must be of a calm disposition or you could upset the car alarms

Oh and if you need your car trailered and it works with my schedule we have the torquenology if you have access to a trailer. :cheer:

I'm a product demand / requirements / operations planner, for Unilever, I currently arrange the import of foods such as Flora, hellmanns, pot noodle, colmans, slimfast etc into Ireland so if any of those products are out of stock in any shop in ireland it means they didnt order enough off us or dare I say it, I didnt import enough into ireland for the shops etc etc

Working in M&S Dundrum,still trying to find a "proper" career,but livin the easy life at the mo.Actually have a dodgy dishwasher,so if Nix wants to take a look at that and scavange parts from my wrecked 2 he's wecome.I can also compensate with good,but cheap wine...

but qualified in construction management and also your run of the mill PRICK of a doorman on the weekends

I have worked for Hegarty's in Limerick on and off for the last while, Dunnes, Henry st, Cook Ireland and Wicks in Ballysimon. Probably bumped into you once or twice.

Like a lot of hte other guys on here I work in the construction industry as well. I'm a Chartered Engineer working as a minor works project manager and Mechanical & Electrical advisor in Queens University Estates department. My specialism would be lighting design with some award nominations in my past (big ego alert ). Been there for about 5 years now ... some days are better than others but you've gotta take the rough with the smooth

I'm happy to post in topics like this one. I'm a Trilingual IT Helpdesk Support Specialist as they call it. Working at Siemens now, just started working in the IT field and so far not too much to complain...Now days having any job is something to celebrate!
