Other option would be to get put an mr2.ie sticker on the reverse of my license plates and then flip them around when taking pictures or at shows, thoughts?
ive had my eyes on these with a while aswell.wen ive the spare cash im gonna buy em they look good.or else even a set of real jap plates.wud be a nice touch for photos r shows..
I was thinking about getting genuine plates too but I couldn't find a set, only individual ones. I asked my cousin about them when he used to work for a jap car importers but the cars never come in with plates on them

Might not be easy to see for a reg plate but def not tacky - a very cool pic for a poster, banner, wallpaper etc
I don't think my skill level would be up to this, and it may not be even possible but...what if we could write mr2.ie in such a way that it looks like a side view of the car. a good example would be this
I quite like the idea of the look-a-likey jap plate with MR2.ie instead of the reg. You could write something interesting in the japenese symbols .. but not rude.
I think there is a way of moulding text to any shape in Photoshop but I don't have pshop on the laptop (takes too much coal to get the power to a reasonable level).
Might give it a go in work tomorrow
I would even put one of these on my car, as long as you don't tell the OC admin
what photo editing software do you use? that "drawing" from the meet is cool
I mess around with a few diff ones but "irfanview" is what I use to create the effects, and then
just use "photopad" if I want to put layers and transpareny effects etc

I don't have a clue what you both are talking about but that is cool. I love the jap flag with the drawn cars.
The reason you cant buy genuine Jap plates is because in Japan you get a registration number when you first start driving and keep that number plate for the rest of your life just transferring it onto your next car. a pain for us Jap enthusiasts!!!
