Hi Brian, I will be looking for one myself soon for the V6 track car I was telling you about yesterday. You should post up a thread here on your conversion.

Don't know if this helps you.

Engine Crane

I got an engine stand from them last year and delivery was swift, but its a good few bob (€200-95) for something you might only use for this conversion.

Thanks ST, could be handy. I'm about 5 mins North of Ennis.
Would prefer a crane, but might take you up on that if I get no joy.

Cheers

Yep, had seen that one on ebay from the same shop. This 1 ton spec crane should be fine.
Have placed an order directly with the them (was tempted to get the stand and 2 ton crane for €275 incl free stand, but as you say, questionable for single use).

I'm a bit OCD when it comes to looking after tools and stuff, but I'm sure we can sort out something if you want to borrow it (could possibly do with borrowing your stand for a couple if weeks)

Cheers

Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

Yep I got the reference Brain, any luck tracking down FourVeeSix for the engine mount, I have mine and you can borrow it to make one up if you want. I will throw up some photos of it in a minute by editing this post.
