Obviously Apex'i, Blitz, HKS and so on are really cool, but can be very hard to source and quite pricey.
Try Auto gauge. Good quality, look well and reasonable money.

Thanks Swagger. The ad on gumtree looks class....I wouldn't have a clue about installing these and what other bits and bobs i'd need to make them work.

No bother Ozzy, take em to a tuner house. Icetronix, Couture, The Tuning Factory, TDP, there are others too that I don't know, Dan on here knows a few more. They can install adn or advise on what you are missing.
Talk to Tim in TB Developments, very nice, helpful bloke. He can tell you exactly what parts you need for whatever you are looking to do, ie, this gauge needs this sensor and this sensor bung and this harness or adaptor to work with x, y or z. Then give you a whole price and you just have to go somewhere for the install.
Or a local place might do the entire job, supply and install. Make a few calls and see what people can offer and at what price. You over Galway side yeah?
Can anyone recommend some decent tuner shops around Galway for Ozzy?

Which gauges are you looking for ? Boost, AFR, oil temp/pressure ?
If you're after boost, its easy to wire up - we can do it at the Athlone MR2 birthday meet if you like.
If you are going for a wideband AFR, you'd need o2 sensor/sender with it. And extra port in your d/p.
If you want oil temp/pressure, you will need a sandwich plate. They are cheap enough.
Electronic gauges are easier to fit IMO.

Ozzy if she's busting your chops too much, ill take it all off ya and throw ya a set of wheels, a Cornetto and a few quid to give her to shut it!
In fairness though, if wasn't for WAGS we would all have everything we ever wanted, car wise, but nothing else at all. We would live on pizza and sleep in our lovely, perfect cars.
So in way, they keep us fairly grounded, telling us what to wear, not to wear, eat & not eat, say, do....they rule our lives and keep our balls in the purses, but it's good for us ya know? Stops us spending all of our money on car parts and accessories

If it's a mint cornetto it's yours What's €900 anyway?
On a serious note though, you're completely right. If it wasn't for lovely Christine I would defo be sleeping in my car and we all know these aren't the most spacious and mine doesn't have an en suite.
The Apexi stuff will be a nice touch though. Think i'll leave the turbo for a while and just go for the ECU and map.

900 lids is a lot, but you have to treat yourself now and again and its cool to have a load of hot accessories. I am pretty sure you won't regret it, once all fitted and working.

nice choice on the gauges you got. They should all be pretty simple to install. As mentioned above oil/water/AFR require a bit more effort.
Boost is just a matter of putting a T piece in to a vac line on your inlet manifold and then wiring in some power for it to light up if it is mechanical. If it is electronic it is as easy.
I installed a speed meter a while ago and it was just a matter of splicing in to the speed sensor on the ECU and then giving it some power. Boost controller was easy too.
You should give them a go yourself, it is a great feeling to get it all up and running yourself and is often a lot easier than you think.
A boost gauge is a must in my opinion and I will be putting one in my MR2 as soon as I get it.
Put some pictures of all that kit up when you get it love looking at electronic goodies
EDIT:
Hope forum admin doesnt mind posting links to other sites.

A boost gauge is essential. The stock one is tiny, inaccurate and does not have any actual numbers on it! So you don't REALLY know what you are at, unless you are totally stock and running factory 0.8 bar.

very true SWAGGER, even at stock level you still dont know exactly what boost you are running. It can make trouble shooting vac leaks a nightmare. Having a boost gauge lets you see immediately if your car is pulling like it should. Some people dont like the fast n furious look so you can just get a little mechanical gauge and mount it somewhere inconspicuous or even just leave it loose in your glovebox
Also for anyone else looking for cheap gauges I found that summit racing www.summitracing.com/ do good gauges at very cheap prices. I am not too far from one of their main distribution centres so if you ever want me to pick anything up and post it on just let me know, or if you want to get stuff delivered to me I can send it on to you - the postage most places charge in the US is a joke!

Thanks Dylan. I'm going to check out that site now.
I'm going to attempt putting that stuff in myself although it could be a while as the estimated shipping date is the 21st of September.
I can't wait that long. Might have a look for a tach meter now...

Ozzy, don't bother, the AVC-R will show your tach meter both as a digital display gauge on the screen and also as graph and digits and will record highest speed and revs of that trip etc. Careful not to double up too much, its a lot of money and then you have to put all of this somewhere. You prob have enough for now, save the funds for an Apex'i Power FC!! Oh yeah...that will bring all of the other stuff together.

I have an avc-r and an apexi fc, they were installed in the car when i bought it, i've only started reading up on the avc-r and it does a hell of alot more than I thought it did, might be worth your while printing out that link i put in the other post and having a good read of it, ive also got a seperate boost guage and rev counter, but the avr-r is so acurate cause its digital, in saying that, i do like my other guages aswell but seriously have a good read of that link

IF you could cancel the order, you could get a PFC and a boost gauge for less than 900 quid.
I've seen two PFCs on IMOC in the last week or two for about £500. That is used. I got mine second hand from Oz and is 100%
A PFC will open a whole other world of tuning. The Hand commander won't be as spectacular as all the other Apexi meters but PFC will do more

And you can get a €30 solenoid to let the PFC control the boost. Now, the AVC-R has a lot more functionality but the PFC will control your boost just fine.
