alrite guys im looking for 4 replacement shock inserts for the girlfriends 92 rev2 import. ive been doing a bit of hunting and got a quote of 600 from advance pitstop for kyb inserts so taught id get them cheaper on the net , which i did for in and around sixty dollars each but the shipping was 530 dollars ! i dont really wanna replace them with second hand units so just lookin ta see if anyone has gotten new shocks recently or knows the best way to get the four. cheers in advance

its shock inserts. on the 92 have the shocks been up dated as had the same problem with mine and cos shocks were never changed they were sealed shocks and got a new set and these can be replaced with inserts. i can ask my local motor factors who do kyb. ypu lookinf for 4 insert shocks.....?

went ahead and made a phone call. 4 insert shocks KYB came to 470euro. k

yeah man i know there inserts and original units but not sure if they were changed at all so they could be sealed. il whip the wheel off when i get a chance n have a look nice one for makin that call glenner , i got a quote of 600 for kyb inserts , il give gtchris a call and keep lookin

no need to take wheels off just turn the wheels to left and right and throw your hand on top of base plate for spring. and if there is a flat nut there at top of shock then its a replace able shock if its sealed you need to change the hole set and the new set will have the replace inserts.

ah ive ta stick in a set of pads aswel but thanks for the heads up where abouts did u get your shocks and stuts from , you were sayin u had to replace the whole lot ?

I have a set of rear shocks , there kyb shocks . They where only new instert that i fitted and the car was used for another 6 months then broken . They cost my over $200 for the insterts , ill sell thm for $150 , with the top mounts . If your interested phone me on 0871224053
