hi lads m really excited about this one just got a bargain of an ex mr2 show car that needs some tidying up but i think you will agree i have a great base project.the guy i bought it off of said it had magazine featured by a previous owner if ye have any info or know previous owner i would love to know. anyways here is some pics

its a mad one alright Jesus he threw money at it whoever did it ill do a spec list there for the crack every where i look their is something modified in it.i intend to bring her back to her glory days it needs a bit of tidying but iv a white one scrapped so no. shortage of bits to transplant ha once i can figure out how to get tis low fucker up on the lift!!how much was she going for when you were thinking about buying her mate?

What does suicide doors mean on a mr2? Do you mean lambo doors?

What sort of shows or mags was the car in? At first glance it doesn't appear to be massively modified.

Good luck with the project. There are a couple of cars being broke on here at the minute that could be useful for some of the bits you need

the doors go up vertical as well as out normally.thanks mate m trying to get in touch with one lad on here but to no avail.its the most modified mr2 iv ever owned and i intend to keep modifying it until it reaches show standards.

oh ya it was in issue 54 of modified motors love to get my hands on a copy but dont know where to look if ye have any ideas i would appreciate it

What were you doing to the wiring?
That car could be a real minter with a little tlc!
I'm liking the body kit etc but IMO that exhaust needs to go pronto, I can honestly say I have never seen one of those before and I don't think I ever want to see another lol.

ha i was suffering thats what i was doing!i replaced the passengers door on the car as it was all dented and the heating controls werent working so i had to take half the dash out to investigate but all sorted now ah yer killing me lads i actually love the mad exhaust!real mental looking yoke lol and the black lights has grown on me big time i mite just swap them to originals for the crack to see what people think tho she is an na mate quick enough to keep me smiling anyway

the exhaust has some cheap looking carbon fibre wrap that is peeling i was thinking of spraying them parts matt black to complement the rear lights what do ye think?

Hi there, fine looking car and i could probably get used to the lights but I would replace that exhaust with something more subtle and maybe bigger wheels.
I am not a major fan of larger wheels, but the ones on it at the moment look a bit too small with the bigger bumpers and skirts.
Did this have a playstation and screens in the frunk at one stage, saw one similar at a a show in milstreet years ago?

I agree with the boys about the exhaust but its ur car so its what you like that matters. Agree with you about painting those bits black-fake carbon fibre is a no go. Keep up the good work and keep posting plenty of updates/pics

if i could get a nice sports system for right money for her i would buy it but i think a standard exhaust would just make it look unfinished i hear ya about the wheels they are 17 but look small i mite stick on a set of white rotas 17 inch i have on my other 2 to see how they look.im not sure but there was some system in the frunk and boot alright poor lad spent a fortune on the car prob still paying the credit union back lol ill keep the pics coming!

You should hold onto but change the exhaust system! It looks like a one off and someone might want it.
If you think of it, make a vid of the exhaust in action and upload it to youtube and then right click on the vid, copy and paste it onto this thread.

cmere that car is class still unsure about the exhaust but other then that its pretty cool, u should put the single air intakes on the sides would look savage a bit of chopping fiberglassing painting would look class.

Cheers mate.I am removing the exhaust from car and fitting white parts over where the carbon bits are at present.I was thinking about doing the single air intakes alright are the vents hard to remove?I cant get my hands on issue 54 of modified motors I would love to get the full feature on this car as you can imagine but i dont know where to get it any ideas?
