well i've started the rebuild on my gts mr2. going for an engine swap from the busted turbo engine to a N/A engine as its more economical and easier sold, plus it means i can sell the parts off the turbo engine and the gadgets that go with a turbo model
so this what i have to start with....

have most of the pipes and stuff removed from the engine

then i removed the genuine TRD exhaust, its all dirt so i'll be sanding it all down then use fine wet and dry paper on it then finally polish it up to make it shine once more B)

next thing to be removed will be the rear sub-axle :P

Best of luck... Never hear about a swap from turbo to na but welcome to the club. NA is a strong, reliable motor.

i'm only doing it as i already have a turbo one and on a budget so an N/A engine is cheaper and easier sold on as not everyone can afford to keep a turbo 2 running

hi, thats an intresting build ur doing im starting a turbo build in one of my na's i have alot of na parts and now will have more when i get my turbo engine i no its missing one or to bits but not sure wat exactly yet but if ur intrested in swaping a few bits from ur turbo for na parts it might help us both if not best of luck wit the build.

This might turn into a v6 build if I can get the engine but yes if you want any parts let me no, there's not much left of it but sure I might be able to help you out. And if there's any bits you don't want off the n/a let me no and I might buy a few

a no probs ill check out the sheds at the weekend and let u no wat i have der for the na, i should no more about wats missing off the turbo then as well , a v6 that would be a nice in a sw20
