@ Ricky: Ah, I clearly misunderstood, I thought you meant like a cutoff switch hidden away somewhere.
@ Spanky, Cheers dude, that was cool. Never saw the smartass Google before. Ill find lots of use for that, nice one! Oh and now I know what a fuel cut defender is.
For anyone else who wasnt sure:
Most late model turbo systems have an inbuilt defence mechanism to guard against increases in boost pressure. These systems are important in an unaltered, factory set-up, but can be an obstacle if you decide to increase boost pressure.
If you are planning to increase the boost pressure above that of the factory, a fuel cut defender will protect you against the momentary shutdown of the fuel injection system.
There are two types of fuel cut defenders; Pneumatic and Electronic. Your choice should be guided by the application, and whether the car uses a MAP sensor or not.

Alright Gav, welcome aboard.
This thread is Ricky's, re installing FCD's. If you go to Categories and then introductions, start a new thread and introduce yourself there. Just tell us a little bit about yourself, ie, you have an MR2 before, looking to buy one now, what part of the country you are in etc etc...
Here is a link to the introductions thread:
www.mr2.ie/index.php/mr2-forum/11-introductions
Enjoy the forum!

Got the answer I needed thought I'd post it for a reference (Thanks to LMT from the oc )
Pin out www.mr2.ie/index.php/mr2-forum/18-ecu-an...sionsconversions-etc
The 3 wire FCD's need to be spliced into the following wires at the ecu.
Red is 5v power - VC
Black is earth - E2
Green is the Sensor signal wire - PIM
Just splice into the wires m8. There is no need to cut them (Only 4 wire fcd's need the PIM wire to be cut).
