apexi power fc 2 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 7
im getting my apexi power fc fitted next week and i haven't a clue what they do i had an apexi avcr boost cotroller walbro pump and an apexi air itake kit fitted last week if anyone could give me a small idea of what exactly they do would be much appreciated thanks

huh? that's a lot of mods for someone that doesn't know what they do.

I would recommend you read this: www.mrcontrols.com/primers/power.htm

If you're new to cars/engines. That will pretty much fill you in on the basics.


What sort of MR2 have you got?

well i'd know a bit about engines and engine management just a bit confused about the power fc i suppose i should've read up on it before i bought it ill try that link thanks. i have a 97 revision 4 gts dark green

wow nice. Is the green metallic?

Here's a great resource for PFC stuff:

Between this and the MR Power primer you have your reading cut out for you but they are both worth their weight in gold!

The PFC install on your car is even easier. Bear in mind though that you need to have a wideband to do any actual tuning with it!

Should have included this link also:

It goes through some of the screens and tuning approach using the datalogit w PFC.

You can do all of this from the hand controller, but it would take a lot longer..

im getting the mapping done in couture-auto in dunboyne they seem to be ok i ordered it two weeks ago still waiting
