Note: I solved the problem tonight, just wanted to log it in case other people came across the same thing!
Ok I am using a PowerFC w Datalogit to log the AFR's from my ZT2 wideband. Recently the numbers that are turning up on my pc are WAY different to the ones that are being logged by the ZT2 LCD (eg. ZT2 reads 14.7, laptop reads 11.8!) Absolutely hopeless for tuning!
I checked the ground cable, Polynomial value, this that, the other aaargghh! Finally while grasping at straws I went back in to the ZT2 console, to double check the settings. It was definitely set to use the linear wideband output, but I reset it to 'simulate' the narrow band and found that it was configured to show an alternate Narrow band switching point (a function where the ZT2 fools the factory ecu to run leaner). I turned this off, set it back to linear wideband (it noted that alternate narrow band switching point does not work in that function but it obviously does) and then NOW MY FIGURES ARE LOGGING CORRECTLY!
Quandry
p.s. most everyone will not know what the heck I am ranting about. But one day someone with the same problem will read this and say aaaahhhh!
