Hey guys, was driving home last nite and the power steering light came on, steering became very heavy as if it was very low on power steering fluid, however all levels are perfect, there's an electric pump that might be giving trouble, started the car this morning and its fine again, this happened me about 6 months ago aswell, anyone experienced this before with their car???

Hmm maybe your pump is on the way out? I would stick with it until it goes but maybe price around for pumps in the meantime so it's not a shock..

have a look around for someone breaking their car. I think there is a guy on here selling of bits of his at the minute ... mr.2 I think.
Other option is Pacman. He is located in the North but could post something like this to you.
Better to have the part ready or replace it before it finally goes IMO.

I had the same problem in one of my cars, wasnt a 2 though, In the end it did eventually leak PS fluid on my drive and ended up just replacing the pump for about € 80
