ok guys. i been thinking about this for along time. and it bugs me every time. my mr2 have the holy lip on it. and the greddy side skirt. so far, everything flow in very nicely. until you see the back end of my car. from this pic... you can see the back end don't flow in with the side skirt at all.

i been looking around for something i like. but, very hard to pick out which one i would like. i was looking at the greddy one for the back end. but, i just don't like the way it look on my car. on a red mr2 is ok. but, not on white.

next up...not sure what this one is called. i kind of like the way it is shaped. flow very nicely. but, look good only on black mr2. not on a white mr2. i would still be able to see the line between my back bumper and that part.

there are many different type of add-on for our back bumper out there. and i just don't know about. so, if ya have one that you think that would help complete my kit. please add some pic on here so that it may help me pick out the one that would be pick for my mr2. thanks guy for your help.

I think inbetween the exhaust on both sides dont matter much as that mesh thing looks good. For me personally, rear spats would definatly be the way to go!

That's the one Ray, good job. I could see them in my head but could not think who made them.
I have the Toms rear Frank, so don't need spats as the lines of the Toms rear flow really well with the rest of the car, but if I had a stock rear I would definitely get these Rogue spats, without a doubt. I love them.

Im going to get the rear spats for my car. There seems to be to types of them, the BORDER ones and the BMX ones. The BMX ones dont look as severe and blend into the natural curves of the rear bumper more i think. I have found 2 suppliers that do them. carbenfibrecreations do them for £70 sterling + delivery & I found another company in UK called staffsmr2kits that do them for £55 sterling + delivery. anyone else familiar with this company?
We are very familiar with Rogue and CarbenFibre, both well known, proven, good suppliers.
StaffMr2Kits we have also come across, but only recently. Spidey found out a bit about him. He is a member of the MR2OC.co.uk and makes all these parts in his spare time. Seems to be very good, reliable and trustworthy. He has a website, but doesnt have the time to keep the site up to date, so really communicates via the mr2.co.uk.

Are you going to just attach them or bond and smooth them onto the rear bumper ?

Hmmmm.....interesting question. Bonding and smoothing would be better but will cost a few quid more and mean a full bumper respray but IMO the better way to go. Will look proper OEM.

Will probably bond and smooth them into the bumper alright. I know alot of panel beaters as i call to them all day every day with my job, im a sales rep for Wurth so i can get the job done reasonable
ok..i'm kind of digging this one. which is in picture number 3 above. it's harder to see the line on a black mr2. but, mine is white. so, i might just go ahead and bond the piece and the bumper together. either that or i might just make my own add on piece. me and my friend been talking today. we are thinking about makeing copy of ...
1. solid side molding
2. 94 spoiler
3. and 93 lip
and sale them for really cheap to help out ppl who can't afford the real deal. and i been thinking about the design of the rear add on too. if all goes well and planned. we should start making them by dec or so. this next few week if we have some time off work. we plan on making the mold for the solid side molding first.

Oh yeah, nearly forgot, you have some skill and experience in making body parts. You made your own front side trim for replacing the side repeater didnt you? Just remembered that now. That job looked flawless.

OMG....candy shop! I am in the Kildare region. Sweet...always looking for connectors and odds and ends, just bought two fecking spools of auto wiring in Halfrauds. Damn it. No more of that, will be talking to you.
Need some copper grease, possibly some engine cleaner. Really wanna clean up the engine and bay. I noticed in the UK, they buy litres of TFC (as they call it) Traffic Film Cleaner I think. Seems pretty good, they all swear by it on other forums. You have to wear gloves, causes major irritation and yellow staining on the hands.
Do you know this stuff? Can you get it or similar?
Do you do bullet connectors? Need a box of male and female.

yeah we do it alright in 25 litre containers. Its called traffic film remover. Think it costs about €40 + vat for it. We probably do it in 5 litre containers also. not sure how much though. We do copper grease in aerosols also in tubs. Must show you all the stuff we do when we meet up.

Will do swagger, Just in the door, was outside cleaning MR2 all evening. Tried to get the Horn to work, It stopped working at weekend. when i press it i can hear the relay clicking in the fusebox under the frunk. Fuse is alright also so im guessing its the horns themselves. I know there is 2 of them but maybe one was only working last few years and now thats fecked also. Ill have to try get in at it over weekend. Looks akward to get at, will prob have to remove front bumper. The joys

Yeah, that sounds awkward. If I was going to the bother of removing the bumper to replace the horn's, I would replace with aftermarket ones, bigger and more manly. The stock horn is a little gay TBH.....
