Just a qiuck question - not that I had something in mind but is it possible to get any other lettering/logo ?

Thanks, much appreciated. It could be possible to create an alternative logo or lettering but not without a cost of around £80+ Gear knob price I'm afraid because the embosses are made out of CAD cut plates which are then used in a special machine that exerts something like 20 tonnes of pressure. The plate would need to be designed and made for the machine.

I am looking at a number of different designs for the 2010 range and these will be stainless steel embedded into the gear knobs so any ideas are welcome!

I could do a one off but the cost is fairly prohibitive (at the moment).

Totally understandable about the one-off setup costs.

Just thinking on what is popular and what wold be a good seller for your company - I'd reckon something TRD related would sell very well !

And with TRD being Toyota Racing Development, you could sell on to other Toyota clubs with the same fitting (is it M12 x 1.25 ?)

I know there may be issues with using TRD etc but a subtle TRD without the colours and we all know that it stands for The Racers Den !! :)

Hi Chris, interesting product you have there. I believe '98 red stitched knobs are quite popular at present but I guess it's a 'style' so different types will come and go with the years. Thanks for the much welcomed ideas and support (I wrote a response earlier but hit quick reply instead of submit....DOH!)

You hit the nail on the head with regard to TRD although I love the alternative 'The Racers Den' lol......I think I'll be getting to work on some ideas on that in 2010!

I will be looking at providing Gear knobs to a range of Toyota cars in due course because as you quite rightly said the sizes are fairly similar across the range. I have identified that the Gen 6 Celica is a perfect fit as I tested one of mine in a friends GT4. 10mm thread.

My first priority for the new year is getting the finished prototypes of my next MR2 range of Gear knobs done. The new versions will use stainless steel emblems and badges that will be embedded into the leather making for a superb look but also the huge benefit of simply not wearing as standard leather embosses fade quite quickly.

I'll keep you posted!
