is it just me... i dunno.. i dont like this at all i just adore the mk1 of the 80's and mr2 of the early 90's they have style and theres just somthing about them.. im not knocking the above..im just wondering maybe im not on the right site as im an extreme fan of purely the 80's and early 90's models i feel all this stuff as above is ready available and faceless... no distinching...sorry if im talking shite dont mean too piss anybody off just a massive fan of the old stuff and think this type a thing above is just bog standard shite no offence eringobragh you ur self have a crackin 2

None taken ..I ain't a fan of the mk3s tbh but noticed this ones been up quite a whole

....since I was looking for my 2 a year back it was still there

Having seen them on the highland run, they are not a car to sniff at regardless of how quick you think your car is and they hate using fuel.

That one looks really good too.

im not a fan of mk3's but if it had a nice kit on it id be quickly converted

The lack of kit and leather put me off a bit alright, but I suppose you would have to pay alot more for that kind of spec. I heard that the very early models can be troublesome...

Yep early Toyota VVTIs 00-02 are known oil burners. Not sure if the mr2 is in that category
but the 00 celica VVTIs burn ALOT of oil!

Yep early Toyota VVTIs 00-02 are known oil burners. Not sure if the mr2 is in that category
but the 00 celica VVTIs burn ALOT of oil!

They are in that CATegory, basically oil leaks onto the cat convertor disolves bits of it and they get sucked back into the engine to cause more problems its a 1ZZ engine problem. If I had more time I could explain better.

A popular conversion is to stick the 2ZZ into them, but that brings its own valve lift problems as well.

Its been for sale for a good while

dont think ive seen anyone on here with it, youd need a new front lip, bonnet looks like its pink and back bumper is far to red? wheels could do with a refurb and chances are that youd need a new aeriel motor or teeth as the rear lights look on but the aeriel isnt up?(might just be the sun making the rear lights look on
