I think japspeed are decent enough-if the seller is legit your probably good to go.They usually sell for about 300pounds.

That seller is an idiot, he lists exhausts all the time then ends them before the bidding is up.
I was watching 3 different listings for a backbox for the mx5 and he repeatedly ended the listing before its proper end time.

Apart from that Japspeeds are a good backbox and looks great on the back of the car but they are seriously noisy! Sometimes I liked that when I was going for a fun blast in the car, other times it was a pain in the arse, like on long motorway journeys or coming home really late at night and setting off car alarms lol.

For that price, I would suspect it is junk.

I tried to bid on one of his exhausts a few times before and on each occasion I was outbid, despite there being no bids and as already mentioned the auction was withdrawn before time was up. One did go to the end but it sold for 205 pound. That seller is just messin people around with those auctions, don't waste your time

ems powered use this exhaust to sale. the only thing they did to it. is... re-weld the welding line. it's not a bad exhaust. i ran it on my car for the past few years. this is for you if you like loud exhaust.

My Japspeed did set off car alarms and had drone on motorways - in order to get past it you had to be either the slowest or the fastest in traffic

About the silencer bungs:

I have no idea how Japspeed would work with silencer bungs inserted, but from my experience with loud single exit apexi gt is:

- no silencer

good: nice raspy noise, quite ok on Idle, scary fast:)

neg: less drone than Japspeed but still, hard to live with on motorways and around estates in the morning, unholy on open tabs, alarm, etc etc.

- 40e silencer from Ice tronics

good: quieter than stock on idle and around town, bit better on motorways but still loud and funny at 120-140, seams quicker (torque) on slow engine speeds

neg. No power, not eager to even try it flat out knowing about enormous back pressure that can potentially damage something , slow boost, limited boost
your 4,5 inch exhaust goes down to 1.5 inch witch is like having polo 1.0 tail pipe.

- Designated Active tail silencer from Apexi made for turbo cars and my exhaust ca 130e shipped from Japan

good:quiet like stock both normal Idle and cold start up, gets louder gradually on full push, power is there, bit slower boost, still benefit from extra torque in slow rpm town driving

neg. farty sound on idle when cold, with no cat gets alot of that black stuff and can get stuck

and still it is a bit of restriction so power not to much but noticeable lower than open exhaust.
