hi all just starting to put on a wide are kit for my tubby, thought id put up a thread to show whats going on have the front stripped off and test fitted the wings and bumper all looks good ,found rust on one of the sills so another job to tackle here are a few pics so far will have more later

Are the rear quarters going to be riveted or bonded onto the car ?

Lads thanks for all the good luck wishes ill need as much luck as I can get , I be honest im a bit nervous about the project but nothing ventured nothing gained , im thinking of plasti dipping the car at first so I can save the cash for a nice full respray anyone here ever used this stuff before ? Any tips or ideas on the plasti dip would be great

here is an update of the build so far

rusted sill cut out and part was replaced and all area treated
rear quarters fitted bonded and pop riveted had to sand down some areas of the kit to get a snug nice fit
next will be the side skirts

Ill get better pics up soon just busy,thanks for sorting the pics infamous , the side skirts are next and they look like the most difficult part to be honest but fingers crossed it will look ok

Where did you get the kit and did it need a lot of work to line up?

I got most of it from a guy in waterford had it up on donedeal and got the sideskirts from scotland so far it not to bad the bumpers and front wings look like a good fit but will have to wait and see

Just a quick update back bumper fitted was not to bad matches up well not 100% perfect but hard to tell and i got me a set of wheels for the car which im real happy about

What wheels do you have on there?

The wheeks are work vs-sd 9j on the rear et13 and 8j on the front et of 9 they fit nearly perfec wont need spacers

Just another update have front wing on lines up well bonnet will have to be lifted a few mil but the side skirts are way off have a lot of cutting to do so fingers crossed it will work

your code is right at the start and end the [ img ] [/ img ] part that is, but it must end in .jpg and then the end part of your code. So use the direct image link and then put the code you have used at the start and end of the direct link.
