its not something i want to do but i might have to do it with the rear arches and the skirts but i hope not i like the lines, they would be a nightmare if done any flex in the kit and they crack so even if i have to do some ill find a way of not joining them have a small gap so it wont crack as easy

I will man but not right now.. It needs alot of work. Ive a rev 3 turbo to go into it yet and some minor fibre glass work, but dont know how ill fair out matching the paint as its pearlesent paint from house of colour. Would probably be easier respray a different colour all together(the joys of a kit car on Irelands roads) may start a thread soon and show progress from start to end.
What colour have you in mind for yours or are you leaving it white?

Yeah I'd say if you can avoid smoothing the kit out that would be the best thing to do. It not only looks better with the lines but it also makes it easier down the line if you ever need repairs or decide to part the car out etc.

Infamous your right about the lines ,dont think ill ever part the car if anything it will just be a money pit a fun money pit never the lessbut with the side skirts not matching up at the rear there will be a high possibility of the it being smoothed in

Been awhile since my last update , at the moment we are at the filling and sanding stage which is a real pain when you dont know what your doing but sure soldier on regardless if anyone has any tips for this please share
I am in need of some parts aswell
Exhaust twin pipe
Nice seats
Black roof card
Ideas for indicators on wings as dont want to cut into wing
i will be plasti dipping the car white because funds are low and i hope it will hide the bad flushing of the panels in time i will get it done right
anyway thanks for tips in advance

I'm no expert, but what I have read is that to have the bodywork finished in good condition is all in the preparation.
Use your hands to find flaws in the bodywork. A fine mist of primer helps to show up the imperfections.
Take your time and don't try to rush it.

awesome job, just take your time with it, make sure you have plenty of light that way you will be able to spot any imperfections a bit easier, stand back and try looking at it from all angles, maybe have someone else have a look at it with ya, 4 eyes are better than 2
As for indicators you dont need any on your wings i dont have any on mine and had no problems so 1 less thing to worry about and 2 lightbulbs less to replace
Ive seen plasti dip a few times before and something about it makes it look cheap and i didnt really like it, i think wrapping would be a better option but its up to you what you decide to do.

Thanks spla i have 8 eyes looking at it all see different things not a bad idea about indicators i would love to wrap it but the prices im getting are mad id get a full spray for the same , i could try it myself but i know it would be a waste of money , the thing about doing projects you have to know your limits , if anyone knows lads that do good wraps for cheap id love to get it done
