Is the car ready to be sprayed now?
If ur not sure about the colour just spray it black, thats what im doing.
If you are plasti dipping it you will always have a lovely black base to start off with.
I hope ur not applying plastidip straight to fiberglass..
it has to be primed sprayed and lacquered first to protect it as much as possible from cracking overtime and the filer from cracking off.
I had a widearch bodykit on my celica before and after a year it was covered in little cracks because there wasnt enough coats of paint to hold it together.
No need for too many coats on the metal body and doors as there isnt much flex on them.

Maybe I'm biased but - Why deviate from the Original?

because its not original
White would be difficult to keep clean.
I think they came in red too, red looks better.
Just keep it stored out of the suns uv rays in a garage so the paint dosent fade.

No plasti dip got a can of and did not like it so will be going to get a proper paint job and finished right
I will be asking the painter to do what you said spla thanks for the tip
Colours ice white , candy red or some sort of copper maybe
The car is nearly ready, anything we missed will be done by the painter

Yeah i was turned off plastidip the first time i saw it myself, looks cheap.
You should go for pearl white or pearl red, i was gonna do mine in pearl black but sure no point since most of the car will be covered in stickers, wont even see the paintjob to appreciate it so i decided to spray it standard black.

Really!?!
Red looks better than white (says the owner of a red one)
White is best, and also is well known as the Fastest color!
(says the guy with a white one )
In all honesty though;
I'm glad you decided to not plasti-dip but either Red or White would look great
Why I suggested White is that it won't fade and as its the cars original color, will be cheaper, quicker and easier to paint instead of going a totally different color.
Best of luck what ever you decide!

I think you should stick with an OEM colour.
Any of the colours the mr2 came in look well IMO, this will be especially true after some new paint is applied and it's to a widebody so it'll look even better!
Also it just makes it easier if you need to touch up etc in the future.

well why not? who wants to drive around in a car with just one plain colour lol
Did you see my track car? ill have it looking similar.
I think spraying yours the original colour of the car would be the best choice then.
and the paintwork wont get as hot in the summer,

No way man you should go TRD since bodykit is TRD, chunk spoiler for chunk bodykit lol
i wouldnt really call it chunky though, it would be perfect for your bodykit, rev5 might look small.
