Many of ye may know me already as an owner of a white 95 mr2 turbo. But on Thursday I became themail owner of a Toyota Supra 97 6 speed I travelled to Italy for the car and just on the last leg of the drive home and it has been monumental.

I will try and get pics up ASAP but will be going on the run for Joe once insurance is sorted haha

Just curious, why did you go all the way to Italy for a Supra?

as for why italy couldnt see anything that ticked all the right boxes in the uk and this one came up in italy so said I would make a holiday of it and go view the car.

its a 6 speed single turbo in and around 700hp afaik, its road mapped so dont have a dyno but thats the figure the turbo usually pulls at the current boost level.

Very sweet looking motor , snap off wheel and a fuel cutoff hidden somewhere

Thanks and agreed those bits definitely would deter. Looking at getting a wheel lock and also might try and get a removable bollard as well to be extra safe

Very nice, i think i want one to now lol.
Get yourself an expensive snap off steering wheel kit, them things are like keys themselves, they wont be able to get another one that will fit and without the steering wheel as leverage they wont be able to break the steering lock or drive it properly.
Having secret wires and switches is a good idea too.
Also check out the python 533 alarm, i have it its awesome, its wireless remote start 2 way alarm and turbotimer built in, if your car alarm goes off the remote will go off beside you aswel, or you have an option for a silent alarm so the car stays quiet while they break in and the remote beeps.

So anyone have any recommendations for an insurance company? 123.ie have refused to transfer my insurance policy and everyone I have rang has flat out refused me insurance. Not surprised and wouldn't have stopped me buying the car lol

The only annoying part is a 5min check on a uk insurance company and I got a quote for 1200e without trying. Sometimes I hate this country....

Anyways any help on this would be much appreciated and for not the supra is tucked away in a garage for safe keeping

Wish I had 100 octane however for the higher map but none in this country alas.
