If someone wants to head this up then PM me your email address and I'll forward the email I quoted to you so you can contact Chris directly.
I'm going to have to pay full price for my exhaust (Chris can't offer me the discounted shipping in the UK as he's offering for you in Ireland) so I don't really wanna organise a transaction I'm not invovled in

I have been toying with the idea of a louder note but this seems a little steep unless the extra bhp claims are true
What hapened to keeping it standard ??
Yeah, it'll still be standard (ish). I just fancy something that would give a nicer sound, although the current exhaust is fairly nice.
I don't want anything too 'farty' or Impreza-esque, something that sounds like a powerful engine without setting off car alarms
I had a Integra type R go the other way past me last night and it sounded amazing. Reasonably high pitched powerful sounding rather than sounding like the baffles had been removed.

This is roughly what the Berk exhaust sounds like. It has a deep tone, the Type R might have been at 7,000rpm which is going to have a whole different noise to at idle though..

Fair point ... sounded amazing though. I will have to some research by sticking my head near some MR2 asses at the next drive

I've been thinkin abut these group buy ideas and if there a good idea with such a small community.I think all our cars might end up with the same parts. Or maybe I'm makin up excuses because I'm broke ;D

Ye im holding out. Quandry
To the rest. Who cares if the cars will look the same cos they'll be the nicest ones out there and its only an exhaust if you want the best sure everyone will have it. its wat you do with the rest of the car that puts you different from the rest.

Fitted mine on Sunday... it's spot on
I also painted the towing eyes black so there's no nasty orange in the photos!

With a dead engine I've not pushed it too hard to hear the noise, but at motorway speeds it's barely noticeable, until I put my foot down when I get a nice growl. It's also got that lovely throaty sound at idle and low revs and generally seems to have a lower note than my old HKS Hiper. The new engine goes in on 14th / 15th so after that I'll get to hear it at full chat then :)
