Reason for Sunday May 9th is to give people time to order and get deposits to Paul. And to give Paul time to organise the van and book the ferry.
Also, we were having trouble getting numbers for our regular Monthly meet this Sunday 2nd, so Sunday 9th sounds like it might be easier for people to meet up with Paul and we can make it into our monthly meet.
Paul mentioned, he will give a deposit price based on order size/price etc - and I've my order placed and he is very fair - people are getting a good deal here

We're organising a meet on Sunday 9th - so, whichever members are around on Monday can collect the money from those that won't be around.

i have had an idea... i could get the parts shipped over on a pallet.. its only £125+VAT for pallet delivery. i will let you lot nominate somebody to take the parts on behalf of everyone.
i will arrange everything on the pallet so there all safe, pallet wrapped, bubble wrapped and everything.. so far, i have quoted £75 all together for delivery and have only recieved full parts lists off 4 of you. so if nobody else wants any parts, i will send anyway and keep to the prices i have quoted.
i have recieved full payment payment from "white gtr"
so as soon as i recieve full payment from "SWAGGER", "spidey", "MR.2" and whoever else wants parts. i will book the delivery and get the pallet shipped over.

I have no price from you yet, I also need the undertray for the driver side engine end, if you could include that in the price as well.

Hey Paul
I just tried www.shiply.com - recommended by Quandry on here, who has used them before.
I didn't know the dimensions but I put in 1m x 1m x 1m and 30kg weight and it came in at £50 Actually, forgot to check if that was incl/excl VAT - but still very, very good rate
I guess a pallet will be 1m x 1m x 1m - but I've no idea on what the weight will come to.
Maybe check them out and try get a quote ?

Right, here it is.
Paul, whatever way you want to do this, I can accomadate it. I can borrow a mates van and either meet you in Dublin on the Monday and transfer items to my van and guys can collect from me. dshamrock as offered to let us use his shed for short term storage until collection. I would need to know from you, how much you are owed by each person and I can collect at our meet the day before.
OR....If it suits you better, saves u the travel and costs etc...I can give you an address to ship the pallet to. My office has a warehouse and forklift. May actually be cheaper than you coming over yourself. I will again borrow a van and collect kit back to mine/dshamrocks.
I was waiting on pics before making payment, so as soon as you get those to me I will pay you in full via paypal. No problem there, I just like to see what I am buying before I part with my money.
Ideas/opinions anyone? I am leaning towards a pallet being sent to my office.

Bit of a shadow over this now.
Paul, nothing further happening until everyone on TwoBrutal are happy and sorted and we get pics of these parts. I have been asking for pics for a good five days.
It is a very small community and we all share everything. Im pretty happy that you are genuine but I dont like what I read on TwoBrutal, so that needs to be sorted before we can progress. Fair enough with one issue with one person, but...a few?
Ill leave it with you for now.

Thats a fair one steve, i have sorted things out with 2 of the members in there and apologised for my over promising and under delivering and wardies parts wer collected by DHL today and are on route to him now,he will confirm on there tommorow when he gets the parts.
this has been a very expensive week for me and i really have learnt a major lesson. no parts will be sold until they are ready to send. all money from sales will be held in paypal until i confirm the customer is happy. and i am not going to sell more than i can cope with any.
i really do want to gain your trust, these parts i am shipping over are very good parts and i am getting the delivery down to well under half the price aswell.

Paul, thats cool with me. I believed from the outset that you were genuine, ie, you have an indepth knowledge of MR2's, parts, whats compatible with what etc. Also, you are happy to say no to parts you dont have. A scammer would claim to have everything we want.
However, its just worrying to read so many threads of people waiting months with no response, nevermind parts. More threads have come up on IMOC also. We are talking nearly £300 pounds for me alone. I am not as patient as some of the people on those other forums. I would wait 2 weeks and then come over there myself. Im a reasonable guy, anyone will tell you, but I wont be messed around. So I would really like to see that this is all in order before I pay any money. I am VERY glad to see the pics above. They prove three things, you HAVE the parts you say you do, they are in good condition etc and you are for real.
If you ship when you say you will ship and we receive the parts in good time, then you have made yourself a good rep on here, fresh start as such. Please dont let us down or by the looks of it, it will be the last MR2 club/forum you will sell to. All going well, we will let all of our "colleagues" on the other forums know how well our transactions went with you. It could restore some of your credibilty on those forums too.
Thanks mate,
SWAGGER

what are the threads on imoc? i am banned off there so cant search for anything (1 thing i like about you lot already, you are fair!) thats all i want. the chance to prove to people that i am genuine and try my best. my problem has been that i have over promised to people though. i wont do that anymore. from what i remmember, a few years ago 3S, s-bits and a few others wer really getting a bad reputation for parts not turning up. i promise i will not sell any parts that arent ready to send anymore. it really is not worth the hassle because you tend not to pack things to make removing sold parts a priority and keep havaing to make promises you cant keep and end up with a backlog. definately lesson learnt.

Paul, I'm sure you are a genuine guy. I'm glad to see that you are taking responsibility for your actions and one of the guys on TB has come back and confirmed he recived your refund and someone else has recieved your tracking numbers
Perhaps you should stop taking orders for the moment until you are 100% up to date on everything. once you have settled with the guys on TB and hopefully have a smooth transaction with the members on here, it will go a long way towards restoring your reputation.

Paul, we are fair here and certainly have no interest in hurting your business, this is not a witch hunt. We are just concerned about handing off hard earned cash with nothing for it, thats it. If we can help you and get the parts we need at the same time, everyone wins. Im gonna take a chance on you anyway, dont let me down. If you can confirm that all the parts I want are removed (I can see they are from the pics) and ready to ship, if you can promise me that they will ship as soon as you receive my payment (and of course everyones payment if its all one pallet), then I will make the payment straight away.
Fair play to you being man enough to admit your mistakes and take action on them. Are you in a position now whereby you are up to date on orders and ready to dispatch our stuff? If you are, I can as I said, both make payment and give you an address to ship the pallet to. I will then distribute to the lads here.
As mnixon said, maybe we should wait until you have everything removed, checked and ready to ship. Once you are at that point, we will all make payment and then you can immediately dispatch the pallet to me. As soon as I have received it, you are golden mate and back in action. We will, as I said before, inform all other forums of our pleasant transaction with you, explain that you have your process sorted etc etc and recommend you going forward. Its encouraging to hear that the guys on TwoBrutal have been sorted.
I will go over my list on our own email thread and send a final list and price to you. Please confirm all is removed and ready. Pending all orders ready, lets proceed with anyone else who is happy to do so. I understand some people have already made payment to date.
